Stoker-Character-Poster-Mia-WasikowskaStoker marks the anticipated English language debut for critically acclaimed South Korean director, Park Chan-wook (Oldboy).

Led by Nicole Kidman, Matthew Goode, and Mia Wasikowska, we’ve already seen the first two trailers, both of which promise nothing but brilliance, and more recently a teaser poster, and now a new character poster of Wasikowska has debuted over at Empire, bearing the rather excellent tagline, ‘Innocence Ends.’

“After India’s (Wasikowska’s) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother Evelyn (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.”

Jacki Weaver, Dermot Mulroney, Lucas Till, and Alden Ehrenreich complete the cast, with Ridley Scott and his late brother, Tony Scott, serving as executive producers.

Park is directing from a script penned by Wentworth Miller, who makes his feature debut as a writer – and it looks to be an incredibly promising debut – having written the script under a pseudonym, which then made it onto the 2010 Black List.

Stoker will be released in the UK and US on 1st March, 2013, which is definitely a date you’ll want to commit to memory. For now, here’s the great new character poster, which you can click through to enlarge.
