Troll 2 is a film that I probably saw far too many times whilst at university. It is a terrible film but because of this it is incredibly funny in totally unintentional ways. I had a blast watching it with friends and it’s awful dialogue is very quotable.
I’m not alone in having this kind of experience of Troll 2 as the new documentary Best Worst Movie highlights. In it Michael Stephenson, Joshua in Troll 2, investigates the cult status of this film and tracks down the cast and crew who worked on it.
The film has just been picked up for a limited release in the US so hopefully a UK theatrical release or at least a DVD release shouldn’t be too far away.
