While Martin Scorsese’s 3D adaptation of Brian Selznick’s award winning novel The Invention of Hugo Cabret is moving on nicely a few pictures have surfaced showing a few of the formidable cast in their finery.

The film deals with an orphaned boy who, while scratching an existence living in the walls of a Paris train station, strikes up a relationship with the silent film magician Georges Melies.  Sacha Baron Cohen plays the station inspector and sports a rather fetching moustache in the picture below.

Ben Kingsley plays Papa Georges, whose silent films are set to feature in Scorsese’s film, and joins Chloe Moretz and Asa Butterfield alongside Christopher Lee, Ray Winstone and Jude Law.
