Disney are continuing their global quest for charming new stories to tell and with their forthcoming film Moana they find their feet in the South Pacific. We’ve seen some beautiful posters and a fine teaser but now we have the full trailer which shows off this amazing world.

Moana stars 14 year old Auli’i Cravalho opposite Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and is directed by Ron Clements and John Musker with co-directors Don Hall and Chris Williams. Alan Tudyk, Nicole Scherzinger and Jemaine Clement lend their voices to the journey as well.

Here’s a canny synopsis,

In the ancient South Pacific world of Oceania, Moana, a born navigator, sets sail in search of a fabled island. During her incredible journey, she teams up with her hero, the legendary demi-god Maui, to traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous sea creatures, breathtaking underworlds and ancient folklore.

Disney’s Moana is out in the US on the 23rd of November and the 2nd of December here in the UK.
