To celebrate the release of Lorelei, the feature debut from writer/director Sabrina Doyle, we chat to the films’ stars Jena Malone and Pablo Schreiber about this touching, honest new drama.

After 15 years in prison, Wayland (schreiber) reunites with his high school girlfriend, Dolores (Malone), who is now a single mother of three. What follows is a lyrical take on love, regret and second chances.

Speaking to us about the film, Malone and Schreiber told us about the film’s central love story and their characters, how the film reflects the political, economical and social surroundings of small town America, challenges the preconceived notions of felons reintegration into society as well as the heartfelt dynamics of family and love.
