To mark the release of Kenneth Branagh’s Murder on the Orient Express, we spent the day speaking to the cast of this star-studded endeavour – and our most anticipated of the interviews we had scheduled, was with Olivia Colman and Derek Jacobi. So think of our delight when we walked into the room and saw Josh Gad there too. We hadn’t prepared any questions for him, but such is the affability of the three, it didn’t really matter.

We discussed the staggeringly impressive moustache that director, and lead star Branagh dons in this movie, and Jacobi recalls his very first encounter with the man, back when Branagh was a rather confident young man. We also ask about the pranks played on set – inspired by Gad’s continuing interrogation of Daisy Ridley on Star Wars plot points, as we learn about all the cheeky misdemeanours that Dame Judi Dench was behind.

Finally, we couldn’t help but ask Colman about taking over from Claire Foy in the immensely popular TV series The Crown, while we ask Gad about Olaf, and when we can expect to see our favourite, summer-loving snowman again, while he recounts a very sweet story concerning his daughters, and their relationship with Frozen.
