Two stories in one tonight, both centered around Jonah HIll, an actor whose Oscar nominated turn in Moneyball is clearly a sign of things to come as he is signed up to play a supporting role in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street.

According to THR Hill will play opposite Leonardo DiCaprio’s Jordan Belfort (upon whose memoirs the film is based) as Danny Porush, the friend whose advice propels the two to the dizzy and corrupting heights of the stock market ladder, only to fall back down in a dramatic fashion. Little else is known about the project thus far, Hill being the next big casting announcement after DiCaprio and with a 2013 release penciled in you can expect to hear more about this one in due course.

Another of Hill’s forthcoming projects is also in the news tonight, along with a new trailer his for the sci-fi comedy Neighborhood Watch the project has a new name – The Watch. The press release from Fox explains the inevitable name change,

THE WATCH is the new title for “Neighborhood Watch.”  As the subject matter of this alien invasion comedy bears no relation whatsoever to the recent tragic events in Florida, the studio altered the title to avoid any accidental or unintended misimpression that it might.

From what we’ve seen so far this ‘Burbsian/Attack the Block film looks only to be of interest thanks to the casting of Submarine director and IT Crowd favourite Richard Ayoade, who in this trailer is perhaps the only one of the quartet (including Hill, Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughan) not to look chronically tired.

Here’s the new trailer, which is Red Band, or NSFW in English, but I doubt many of you are at work right now…
