More good news from the man who bought us 2009’s fantastic tale of lunarcy, Moon.

Duncan Jones tweeted yesterday that a new cast member has found his way into Jones’ next project, Source Code.

The tweet read:

Just met with the lovely Vera Farmiga and Jeffrey Wright. Feeling quite thrilled to have two such scorchingly good actors in Source Code!

Vera Farmiga we knew about when it was announced that she and Michelle Monaghan were joining the cast, but the addition of Jeffrey Wright is a great thing for this project. Wright always plays his characters with an understated power, and his recent turn as Muddy Walters in the 2008 Cadillac Records was a highlight of the film.

Along with Wright and Farmiga Source Code has enlisted the services of Jake Gyllenhaal as the lead in a story of a man who finds himself waking up in the body of a commuter on a train which is about to fall victim to a terrorist attack.

Simply can’t wait for this one, and our fingers are crossed for Jones and his team as Moon is up for a number of The Critics Circle Film awards which are announced this evening in London.
