Director Paul McGuigan and writer Matt Greenhalgh’s adaptation of Peter Turner’s memoir ‘Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool’ is an absolutely wonderful film. It may not have the fury of the blockbuster marketing machines behind it but since we saw the film on the festival circuit we’ve jumped at every chance to point our spotlight on this film. It is a moving cinematic love song which brings out the best  in its leads Annette Bening and Jamie Bell.
