With Mr. Holmes hitting our screens this weekend, we had the distinct pleasure of sitting down with the eponymous protagonist – and British acting legend – Sir Ian McKellen.
We discussed how you go about researching for such a renowned literary figure, and if he feels he was in any way inspired by either Benedict Cumberbatch or Robert Downey Jnr’s interpretation of the role. We also ask about his hobbies, and where he fits in to the forthcoming Noel Coward biopic.
