13 years since their brilliant collaboration in Training Day, director Antoine Fuqua is now finally teaming up with main man Denzel Washington yet again in The Equalizer.
We had the pleasure of sitting down with Fuqua to discuss the project – and whether it was always their intention to make another movie together (and why American Gangster didn’t materialise for him). He also speaks about adapting this tale from a TV series, his inclination for unadulterated entertainment – and of his next project, the Suge Knight documentary.
