The trailer for Vera Farmiga’s directorial debut, Higher Ground, has landed courtesy of Apple.
The film – which stars Farmiga (Up In The Air) along with Joshua Leonard, John Hawkes, Dagmara Dominczyk and sister Taissa Farmiga – charts one woman’s search for her religious identity – an endeavour which takes up a large portion of her life.

Picked up by Sony Classics following this year’s Sundance Film Festival, the film is set for an August 26th limited release.
