From the crimes of the Hinterland and war on the Eastern Front, our gaze has landed on the second series of the BBC’s Birmingham based crime drama Peaky Blinders.
To commence a multi-week feature series exploring the creation of series two with contributions from creator Steven Knight, producer Laurie Borg, director Colm McCarthy and production designer Grant Montgomery, first the show’s two leads – Murphy and McCrory shared their thoughts on discovering a sense of liberation as well as stepping foot into the past courtesy of Knight’s words and McCarthy’s camera.
