It’s called Dark Horse and it’s yet another black comedy from the New York filmmaker, which tells for story of a romance between two emotionally-stunted thirty-somethings, one an avid toy collector (TV actor Jordan Glber) and the other, a woman who is the dark horse of her family (Selma Blair, working with her Storytelling director again).
Todd Solondz creates an intimate dark comedy about a manchild whose desire for a romantic relationship runs smack into reality.
Christopher Walken (sporting a thoroughly off-putting toupee in one of the images) plays Gelber’s father in the film, and Mia Farrow, Donna Murphy and The Hangover’s Justin Bartha co-star. The film will be shown under the Special Presentations section of the festival.
