The light at the end of 2020 tunnel shines brighter as Glasgow Film Festival announces a hybrid festival for 2021.

It comes as no surprise as we’ve seen changes to festivals throughout the year as organisers quickly adapt to the new-norm

In-cinema screenings will run alongside Glasgow Film At Home, a new online service that is now live. The platform will include titles from GFF 2020 including Arract, winner of the Audience Award.

Festival Co-Director and Glasgow Film CEO, Allison Gardner, said: “We are delighted to be bringing Glasgow Film Festival back in 2021 in as safe as possible a way.”

Allison adds: “The festival team have risen to the challenges faced and have crafted a festival that will continue to embody all the best elements of the festival but also deliver them in a new, exciting ways. Audiences in Glasgow and beyond are in for a host of cinematic treats.”

The 17th edition of Glasgow Film Festival runs from February 24th to March 7th, 2021.For more information on Glasgow Film At Home can be found here.
