The first teaser for Ghostbusters generated a lot of discussion, something which has continued right up until recently when it was revealed that it’s now the most disliked YouTube movie trailer in history. Throw in the fact that star Melissa McCarthy was also critical of how Sony Pictures presented it in the preview and expectations on the second trailer are high.

Is this one any better? Well, it’s definitely an improvement (despite reusing quite a bit of footage from the teaser), but is ultimately unlikely going to do much to change the minds of those who have already decided they want the Ghostbusters reboot to fail. However, the Paul Feig helmed movie definitely looks like fun, and we do get to see more of both Slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man here, something sure to come as a bonus to fans.

This new take on the Ghostbusters franchise will focus on Patty Tolan (Leslie Jones), Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy), Erin Gilbert (Kristen Wiig), and Jillian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon).

Ghostbusters is set to be released on July 22nd, 2016. The cast also includes Chris Hemsworth (as the team’s secretary), Andy Garcia, Michael K. Williams, Matt Walsh, and Neil Casey as the reboot’s lead villain. Check out the new trailer for the movie below.
