R-Patz plays Eric Packer, a multi-millionaire on a “24 hour odyssey” across Manhattan; as his driver has to take a lengthy diversion to get the rich man a haircut, as presidential visits, attacks by anarchists and a rapper’s funeral all get in the way. Sounds suitably odd for Cronenberg we think you’ll agree!

Cosmopolis won’t reach out cinema shores until an yet to be announced date in 2012, but has a rather superb supporting cast in Paul Giamatti, Juliette Binoche and Kevin Durand.
