David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis came out in the UK back in June, but for all our US readers still waiting to see it, we’ve got four new images of its lead star, Robert Pattinson, as the film heads for a limited release in the States from today.
Written and directed by Cronenberg, adapting the original novel by acclaimed American author Don DeLillo, Cosmopolis will see Pattinson starring alongside a great supporting cast including Jay Baruchel, Juliette Binoche, Samantha Morton, Paul Giamatti, Sarah Gadon, and Kevin Durand.
“28-year-old financial wizard and billionaire Eric Packer traverses Manhattan in his stretch limo. His goal: a haircut at Anthony’s, his father’s old barber. But on this day his driver has to navigate a presidential visit, an attack by anarchists and a rapper’s funeral. Stuck in traffic, he anxiously monitors the value of the yen on the limo’s computer.”
Cosmopolis is released in the US today, 17th August, and will be coming to DVD/Blu-ray here in the UK on 8th October. If you missed it whilst it was in the cinemas back in June, it’s already currently available for pre-ordering.
