Little did I know I would come out of the cinema feeling completely Disneyfied as it was pretty darn good! Is Disneyfied a word? I guess it is now!

Variety are reporting today that a sequel to the live action / animated movie is in the works and Disney have hired Jessie Nelson to write a script and Anne Flecther who directed The Proposal to directed. Both Barry Josephson and Barry Sonnenfeld will return as producers.

The first movie was brought to us in 2007 and starred Amy Adams, James Marsden, Patrick Dempsey and Susan Sarandon, earned more than $340 million worldwide while it only cost $85m to make so a sequel makes good financial sense.

According to the report, we can expect to see the second installment as early as next year. More as we get it.
