Netflix has debuted two new images from the upcoming fifth season of ‘The Crown’ of Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana and Dominic West as Prince Charles.
With production underway on the 5th season, it will see a whole new cast of faces replacing those from the previous two seasons. Elizabeth Debicki is on board to play the role of Princess Diana, while Imelda Staunton takes over the role of Queen Elizabeth II from Olivia Colman. Dominic West will be portraying Prince Charles, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip and Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Jonny Lee Miller as Ex-Tory Prime Minister John Major. Anyone would think they are trying to give the Tories and the Royal Family a bit of a sexy edge!

Season 5 will delve into the early 1990s — a hugely turbulent period for the Royal Family, to be honest, 90% of the Windsor reign has never been quiet on the drama front, they could give the Ewings a run for their money. It will focus on the breakdown of three of her children’s marriages, a fire at Windsor Castle, and the deaths of Princess Margaret, the Queen Mother and the Princess of Wales.
