Huge congrats to @SteveBPrice for his Bafta Award for the ‘Gravity’ score. I guess I should drop the news that he is scoring ‘Ant-Man’.

Marvel Studios have worked with composers like Henry Jackman, Alan Silvestri and Brian Tyler multiple times on existing and upcoming releases, but this marks the first time for Price.
Of course, taking into account his superb (and now award-winning) work on Gravity as well as the fact that he worked with Ant-Man co-writer Joe Cornish on Attack the Block and with Wright on The World’s End, this news perhaps shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. It is however an extremely pleasant one!
The next movie that we’ll be able to hear Price’s work in will be David Ayer’s Fury. Starring Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lily, Ant-Man is set to be released on July 17th, 2015 after Joss Whedon’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.
