All those of a certain age, get ready for a trip down memory road as the beloved series animation ‘Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds’ has been made into a film and will be coming to a cinema near you soon.

Based on the beloved animated series and inspired by the famous novel by Alexandre Dumas, the movie is brought to the big screen by celebrated animation writer Doug Langdale.

For those not familiar, Dogtanian is an ambitious young swordsman who dreams of becoming a hero and joining the legendary Muskehounds.  After proving his skills and earning their trust, he and the three Muskehounds must defend the King from the villainous Cardinal Richelieu’s secret plot to seize power.  Will the Cardinal win and take control, or will Dogtanian and his new friends foil the evil scheme before it’s too late?

The film will hit UK and Irish cinemas on 25 June, with previews on 19 and 20 June over the National Lottery Cinema Weekend.
