Lionsgate has released the first teaser trailer for ‘Day Drinker,’ the upcoming thriller starring Johnny Depp, Madelyn Cline and Penélope Cruz.
Directed by Marc Webb, ‘Day Drinker’ follows a private-yacht bartender, played by Cline, whose seemingly ordinary shift takes a dangerous turn when she encounters a mysterious guest on board, portrayed by Depp.
The pair soon find themselves drawn into the orbit of a criminal figure, played by Cruz, as their lives become unexpectedly connected. What begins as a chance encounter quickly spirals into a dangerous web of secrets, crime and shifting loyalties.
The teaser offers a glimpse at the stylish thriller, with Depp’s enigmatic character immediately raising questions about who he really is and what has brought him aboard the yacht. As the mystery deepens, Cline’s bartender finds herself caught in a situation far beyond anything she could have anticipated.
