Guy Ritchie is rounding up quite a cast for his next feature ‘Toff Guys’. The newest name added to the impressive cast list comes in the form of Widows’ Colin Farrell.

Farrell joins Matthew McConaughey, Henry Golding, Hugh Grant, Jeremy Strong and Michelle Dockery on the cast.

Ritchie’s film will focus on the collision of old-money, European wealth and the modern marijuana industrial complex. It follows a British drug lord attempting to cash out on his highly profitable empire by selling it off to a dynasty of Oklahoma billionaires. McConaughey will play the role of an ultimate “inside outsider”. Details for Beckinsale and Golding’s characters are yet to be revealed.

Ritchie alongside Marn Davies and Ivan Atkinson have written the script on the film which is set to start filming in Autumn. The film is scheduled for a 2019 release.

Ritchie has recently wrapped on Disney’s Aladdin and has the third Sherlock Holmes feature lined up on his schedule.

Farrell was last seen in Steve McQueen’s thrilling all-female heist caper ‘Widows’. He will next appear as Holt Farrier in Disney’s live-action adaptation of ‘Dumbo’. He will also star in action crime drama ‘Eve’ alongside Jessica Chastain and John Malkovich and is also set to star in ‘War Pigs’ alongside Mel Gibson.

Dockery is best known for her work as Lady Mary Crawley in ‘Downton Abbey’. She is currently filming the untitled ‘Downton Abbey’ feature film in which she reprises her role.
