Don’t you wish more genre posters were this great? The artwork below (via Bloody Disgusting)  is for portmanteau film, Chillerama. It’s being rolled out on a roadshow tour around Halloween in the US, before arriving on home cinema a month later.

The names for the short features which make up the film also mirror the playfulness of what is being presented here – Wadzilla, Zom B Movie, I Was a Teenage Werebear and (possibly the greatest title of all time) The Diary of Anne Frankenstein.

The image in itself looks like the poster for American Graffiti has been reworked into a demented 80’s Troma feature and then made over with Mad Magazine-type caricatures. It’s hard to imagine that the actual films will match the craziness in this poster, but if they can get even close to the spirit of what’s on offer here, we could be in for an incredibly entertaining time.

Hopefully a UK release date will surface soon.
