Earlier this month we spoke to writer / director Drew Goddard and his cast including Jeff Bridges, Dakota Johnson, Jon Hamm, Cailee Spaeny, Cynthia Erivo & Lewis Pullman about their thrilling new movie Bad Times at the El Royale.
DaniElle DeLaite sat down with the cast and director to talk about their what drew them to the film, and how the idea came about in the first place. The director talked about wanting to make a love letter to the crime genre. There was a lot of secrecy surrounding the film during production and Goddard talked about keeping the film under wraps.
The actors talked about creating a good on-set atmosphere, and how that rapport and camaraderie merged with the work on screen. They also discuss their love of the original idea, and how the script truly shocked them, and made it impossible to turn down.
