In the past five years, US cable channel AMC has become a leader in original programming alongside HBO, with Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and The Walking Dead all in its roster.

The fifth and final season of Breaking Bad is due to begin in the States in a month’s time, and IMDb have debuted four new images – three of which appear to be promos, and the final from the first episode of the season, Live Free or Die.

Bryan Cranston has earned himself three Emmy wins for Best Leading Actor in a Drama Series for the role, with Aaron Paul taking an Emmy for Best Supporting Actor as well – the show’s awards really speak for themselves.

Here in the UK, the first three seasons are available to buy on DVD, with season four due to be released this October.

If you’re reading this in the US, though, the first half of the fifth and final season of Breaking Bad will begin airing on 15th July next month. With a sixteen-episode season, divided into two parts, you can bet anything that it’s going to be an utterly immense drive right through to the end.
