2. Sharon Carter
The UK trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier doesn’t feature a lot of extra footage, but there are a few key scenes of importance. Our first look at Emily VanCamp as Agent Sharon Carter is one of them. As with all Marvel Studios movies, the sequel is shrouded in secrecy, with Agent 13’s role totally unknown at this point.
Rumour has it that she’ll be undercover as Cap’s neighbour, but as they pass each other here (clearly in S.H.I.E.L.D.’s headquarters or somewhere equally as official), it’s obvious they don’t know each other and that could mean those reports are false. Either way, it does appear as if Sharon is working for Robert Redford’s shady Alexander Pierce. Will this movie address her eventual relationship with the Captain? We’ll see…
