3. Who Dies?
So, not everyone makes it out of Captain America: The Winter Soldier alive! Black Widow looks an awful lot more upset than the Captain, so that probably means it’s neither The Falcon or Bucky (killing him off would be a HUGE mistake on Marvel’s part, especially as he goes on to become Captain America for a short time).
There are a few other possibilities – surely not Agent Coulson again?! – but the presence of Maria Hill makes us think that it’s none other than Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury! After all, he’s faked his death numerous times in the comic books only to later emerge from hiding, and his “death” would allow Cobie Smulders to take on a much larger role in The Avengers: Age of Ultron as the new Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Civil War, anyone?
