4. Captain Lance
He’s alive! Perhaps one of the biggest shocks of the season two finale was Officer Lance (he was a detective in the first season but got demoted after helping The Arrow) collapsing to the floor after a brutal attack a few hours earlier by one of Deathstroke’s superpowered goons. Thankfully, Laurel and Sara’s father survived his injuries and is now finally in a position he deserves; Captain of Starling City’s police department! Just as his demotion did, this should add an interesting new wrinkle to the series, especially as it means that we won’t be seeing the police hunting The Arrow now. In fact, this could even lead to him becoming a publicly recognised hero, and actor Stephen Amell recently revealed that he believes he’ll soon be known as “The Green Arrow”.
