9. The Infinity Stones
Each of the Infinity Gems (or “Stones” as they’re referred to in the Marvel Cinematic Universe) has a unique power and are incredibly dangerous by themselves. This has already been seen in movies like Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World and Guardians of the Galaxy of course, and as of right now, Thanos doesn’t hold many of them.
Regardless of whether it’s in Asgard or in the care of the Nova Corps, the villain is going to have to make his presence felt all over the place in his quest to unite the stones, but when and where this all happens remains to be seen.
It’s hard to say if Marvel intend to have him start finding them before or during the movies, but based on the leaked teaser trailer we mention above, Thanos is obviously going to acquire them at some point and The Avengers should be very afraid.
