6. The Comic Book Version
With Civil War, it was easy to turn to the comic books for a rough idea as to what we should expect when it reaches the big screen in 2016. However, a number of comic books featuring Thanos and his attempts to gain the Infinity Gauntlet have been published over the years, and none of them would make a good movie if directly adapted.
Looking at both “The Infinity Gauntlet” and “The Infinity War” comic book arcs may give us a rough idea as to what we should expect, but like next year’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, we suspect that this will be Marvel Studios’ own unique take on the story with just a few nods to the source material. That’s not necessarily a bad thing either of course, though there are definitely at least a few characters and moments they should consider bringing to the big screen as you’ll see a little later in this feature.
