5. The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence)
Like the first movie (which ended up being a box office flop), there was a lot of hype surrounding The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) ahead of its release. That didn’t get the direct-to-DVD sequel too far however, as it was banned by the BBFC in the UK rather quickly. It’s understandable too. If Tom Six’s first movie displayed some original ideas, this grotesque follow-up took things to the extreme.
Featuring graphic scenes of mutilation, torture, rape, and the death of a baby, this was a film which had nothing to say. It’s sometimes hard to appreciate why a movie is banned or surrounded by controversy, but in the case of The Human Centipede II, it was well justified and a third instalment is thankfully nowhere to be seen right now.
