Samuel L. Jackson’s career has been a fascinating and varied one, but action movies have always had some sort of presence in his filmography.
In recent years, he’s taken on less action orientated parts for slightly more normal supporting roles, but that changed in a big way with last year’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier. It’s hard to believe that the MCU’s Nick Fury is 66, especially after some of the stunts we’ve seen him pull in recent years. Jackson is showing no sign of slowing down either as he will reprise that role in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and has everything from Big Game to Cell and Tarzan on the way.
Even if he’s not taking on the most action-packed of roles, this actor is going to have a presence in them for years to come.
