7. Will Smith (46)
Like Dwayne Johnson, Will Smith isn’t exactly an old-timer, but after a string of disappointing movies and quite a few years off from acting, he looks set to re-enter the action movie genre with the big screen adaptation of DC Comics property Suicide Squad next year.
In that movie, he will star as Deadshot, a character who will more than likely have a major role in the DC Cinematic Universe (meaning that Smith could be playing the deadly assassin well into his 50s). With the likes of Men in Black and Independence Day behind him, Suicide Squad might once again establish the actor as a box office force to be reckoned with, and should set the stage for Smith to take on a plethora of new action movies in the years which follow.
