6. Dom vs. Hobbs (Fast Five)
It may not be a scene involving cars, but this is still one of the best action sequences in the Fast and Furious franchise. Expecting moviegoers to root against The Rock is asking a lot from them, but any fan of the series had to be on the side of Vin Diesel’s Dom during this intense fight scene.
It was a clash of the titans as the patriarch of the gang we’d all come to love over the years took on the biggest threat they had faced to date in the form of U.S. DSS agent Luke Hobbs, and it was epic. Their battle ended up being a pretty even match, and ended with a great fake out which made us all think that Dom had crossed the line.
The important thing is that Hobbs didn’t win, but even if he had, this is one of the franchise’s best fights.
