8. Tunnel Chase (Fast & Furious)
2009’s Fast & Furious was a reboot of sorts for the franchise and it brought back the original characters after they took a break (for the most part) in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.
The first movie directed by Justin Lin, this didn’t turn the franchise around quite as much as Fast Five ultimately would, but it did put the series on the path which transformed it into the box office draw it’s since become.
Reluctant allies Dom and O’Conner once again teamed up in this thrilling chase which took place in a secret tunnel between Mexico and the United States. As outlandish a location as that may be, it worked here and this lengthy sequence was full of exciting moments which also went a long way in cementing the duo’s friendship.
