Bryan Singer and Fox have been doing a great job of pushing the film in recent months, and with X-Men: Apocalypse already announced and in place for 2016, the franchise is looking healthier than ever.

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future.

The anticipated blockbuster of course brings together the casts of Singer’s original X-Men films with Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class, with James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, and Halle Berry leading the way, and a bit of a question mark remaining over Anna Paquin’s appearance in the film.

Singer directs from a script penned by Simon Kinberg (Sherlock Holmes), based on the original arc of the same name by Chris Claremont, John Byrne, and Terry Austin.

X-Men: Days of Future Past hits UK cinemas on 22nd May before crossing the Atlantic for its May 23rd release date in the US. Without further ado, this is the one you’ve all been waiting for. Enjoy.
