This evening, one of the most anticipated movies of 2012 has the world premiere in New York City. That film (incase you haven’t read the title) is The Dark Knight Rises. We’re told that all the main cast will be attending including Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and director Christopher Nolan.
The Dark Knight Rises is the third and final film in the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy and everything that we’re hearing about it is positive which is a very good thing! The European Premiere is this Wednesday and if all goes well, we’ll be there to chat with as many of the cast as possible but in the meantime, here’s the New York World Premiere. Timings are as follows:
The New York City Premiere will be streaming live today from the red carpet featuring talent interviews, arrivals, crowd interaction and after party starting at 3:00 pm PST / 6:00 pm EST. The actual premiere starts at 3:00 pm PST / 6:00 pm EST and should run until approximately 4:15 pm PST / 7:15 pm EST.
EST is 5 hours behind GMT so for UK viewers, I’ll let you do the calculations depending on which bit you read! Basically it kicks off around 23:00.
