Here’s the brand new teaser trailer (scroll down!) for Director Luc Besson’s (The Fifth Element & Leon) movie Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (Or Valerian as it was previously known) starring Cara Delevingne, Dane DeHaan, Ethan Hawke, John Goodman, Clive Owen, Rihanna and the legendary Rutger Hauer.


The movie is based on the comic book series Valérian and Laureline from writer Pierre Christin and illustrator Jean-Claude Mézières and looks like nothing we’ve ever seen before. A but like a mix of Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy, Tron…..

In the year 2740 Valerian and Laureline are special operatives for the government charged with maintaining order throughout the Universe.
Under orders from their commander, Valerian and Laureline embark on a mission to the breathtaking intergalactic city of Alpha, an ever-expanding metropolis comprised of thousands of different species from all four corners of the galaxy. This great, historic city, is under attack by an unknown enemy. Valerian and Laureline must race against time to find the source of this evil and stop it before it destroys the cornerstone of our Universe.

    Wow not heard of this before! Keeping my expectations low though, Luc Besson may have made great films a lifetime ago but this recent stuff has been incredibly ‘meh’.
