A24 has released the official trailer for ‘Club Kid,’ a new comedy written and directed by Jordan Firstman, which follows a New York City club promoter whose hedonistic lifestyle is thrown into chaos when he discovers he has a 10-year-old son.
The film centres on a hard-partying club promoter who has built his life around late nights, wild parties and the unpredictable energy of New York City nightlife. But when his 10-year-old son, whom he never knew existed, suddenly arrives in his life, his whirlwind existence is turned upside down.
The official trailer offers a glimpse at the unlikely father-son relationship at the heart of ‘Club Kid,’ as its protagonist is forced to confront a new set of responsibilities while attempting to hold onto the chaotic lifestyle he has built for himself. Expect plenty of nightlife-fuelled comedy, awkward encounters and emotional growing pains as the pair attempt to navigate their unexpected new dynamic.
