A couple of weeks ago, we got to see a very early screening of The Next Three Days. We can’t tell you too much about what we thought yet as the film isn’t out until 7th January. It stars Russell Crowe, Liam Neeson, Jonathan Tucker, Brian Dennehy, Lennie James, Moran Atias, Jason Beghe and is directed by Paul Haggis who directed Crash back in 2004 which won Best Film at the Oscars. He also wrote scripts for Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Flags of our Fathers and Letters fro Iwo Jima and Million Dollar Baby so he’s no stranger to the movie industry.

Synopsis: Life seems perfect for John Brennan (Russell Crowe) until his wife, Lara (Elizabeth Banks), is arrested for a gruesome murder she says she didn’t commit. Three years into her sentence, John is struggling to hold his family together, raising their son and teaching at college while he pursues every means available to prove her innocence. With the rejection of their final appeal, Lara becomes suicidal and John decides there is only one possible, bearable solution: to break his wife out of prison. Refusing to be deterred by impossible odds or his own inexperience, John devises an elaborate escape plot and plunges into a dangerous and unfamiliar world, ultimately risking everything for the woman he loves.

We’ve had one trailer for the movie which you can check out here or scroll down to view these two new images supplied by ComingSoon. Anyone out there looking forward to this one?
