Big-Hero-6-1

The full trailer for Big Hero 6 will be released tomorrow, but Marvel and Disney have today unveiled the first poster for the movie along with a trailer teaser showing off a first look at footage for the animated feature.

The movie marks the first collaboration between the two studios since the House of Mouse scooped up the comic book publisher for a cool billion a few years back.

While it more than likely isn’t set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and doesn’t feature big name characters like Captain America or Iron Man, but the movie which is based loosely on a few short-lived comic book series’ of the same name is directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams and looks like an awful lot of fun.

The voice cast of Big Hero 6 includes T.J. Miller, Maya Rudolph, and Jamie Chung, and is currently set to be released in 3D on November 7th, 2014.

Big Hero 6

Big Hero 6 is a heartfelt comedy adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, clean freak Wasabi No-Ginger, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a cutting-edge robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery. Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action and all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6? is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”), and produced by Roy Conli (“Tangled”).
