Apple TV revealed the premiere date for the highly anticipated fourth season of the global hit series ‘Ted Lasso,’ starring and executive-producing Emmy Award winner Jason Sudeikis.
Season four will make its global debut on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, with one episode, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through October 7.
We see Jason Sudeikis back in familiar blue, but the rhythm has changed. Richmond’s iconic grounds hum with a fresh energy as Ted faces a new frontier: coaching a second-division women’s football team.
Quick flashes introduce returning fan favourites, including Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift. Their presence feels like slipping back into a well-worn jacket, comforting, but this time stitched with new patterns.
The teaser also spotlights fresh faces joining the squad: Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely. Season four trades Premier League pressure for something arguably tougher: reinvention. Ted’s latest challenge isn’t just about tactics or trophies; it’s about guiding a team stepping into its own spotlight.
