The one thing Monday mornings could do with is a little less bleary eyed work and a little more kicking ass whilst swinging around on an elephant’s tusk.

That’s why I’m pleased to offer up this teaser for Tony Jaa’s sequel to the prequel of Ong Bak: Muay Thai Warrior (Ong Bak 2 being the earlier prequel to the first – keeping up?), and it has Jaa’s character Tien returning which will please fans of the second film’s cliffhanger ending, though the film’s chronology is a touch confusing.

There is much to enjoy in this trailer which does it’s best to give a flavour of what Jaa has to offer and the little we know about the film comes from American Film Market (via Twitchfilm).

The legend of Ong Bak 3 begins after Tien (Tony Jaa) has lost his fighting skills and his beloved step-father at the Garuda’s Wing cliff from the raid led by Jom Rachan (Saranyu Wonggrajang).  Tien is brought back to life with the help from Pim (Primrata Dechudom) as well as Mhen (Petchai Wongkamlao) and the Kana Khone villagers.  Deep into the meditation taught by Phra Bua (Nirutti Sirijanya), Tien finally is able to achieve ‘Nathayut’.  His talents are put to the test again when his rivals including the Golden-Armored King’s Guard (Supakorn ‘Tok’ Kijusuwan), the mysterious killers in black, and Bhuti Sangkha (Dan Chupong) return for the final massive showdown.
