The cast of The Current War continues to swell with impressive talent with three more high-profile actors signing on this week.

Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Homecoming), Sienna Miller (American Sniper) and Katherine Waterston (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) are the latest stars to join the film which is being directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl).

The film tells of the rivalry between Thomas Edison (Benedict Cumberbatch) and George Westinghouse (Michael Shannon) as they compete to find out who is going to “bring a sustainable electricity system to the United States”. X-Men: Apocalypse star Nicholas Hoult is also on board as Nikola Tesla.

Produced by The Weinstein Company, The Current War starts shooting in December.
