This-Is-The-End-PosterSeth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are making their long-overdue directorial debuts this summer with This Is The End, and it’s naturally guaranteed to be one of the funniest movies of the year.

Seth Rogen and co. + Apocalypse + Celebrity Cameos = Guaranteed Comedy Genius.

Fact.

Of the many, many celebrity appearances that the film boasts, one of the few I’m most looking forward to seeing is Emma Watson’s performance. With just a matter of weeks before This Is The End hits the big screen, Sony have released a great new clip giving us a look at Watson in the film alongside Rogen and co.

Six friends are trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.

Rogen is of course joined by a brilliant leading cast, with James Franco, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, and Craig Robinson completing the sextet. And starring alongside them and Watson will be a slew of famous faces, including Jason Segel, Michael Cera, Paul Rudd, Aziz Ansari, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Martin Starr, David Krumholtz, Kevin Hart, and Rihanna.

Rogen and Goldberg are directing from a script they co-wrote, based on an original story by Goldberg and Jason Stone, with the three having worked together on the original short, Jay and Seth Versus the Apocalypse.

This Is The End will be released in the US on June 14th, before crossing the Atlantic two weeks later for its UK release date on 28th June. I cannot wait. This is going to be truly awesome.
