Warner Bros. are going all out with their promotion of The Dark Knight Rises, which is finally hitting theatres next Friday, and by far one of the most highly anticipated films of the year.

This week alone has seen a new trailer, the first clip, and some awesome new posters ahead of next week’s release, and now we’ve got two new clips from MSNBC to share with you tonight.

“Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises” is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive.  Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good.  For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda.  Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile.  But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.”

Christian Bale returns for one final outing as the Dark Knight, alongside the immense cast headed up by Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, and Marion Cotillard.

Christopher Nolan is of course behind the camera for the epic conclusion, directing from a script he co-wrote with brother Jonathan, from a story by the director and David S. Goyer (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight).

And if you’d like to see the full interview with Anne Hathaway from MSNBC’s Today, you can watch it below.

The Dark Knight Rises will be released in regular and IMAX theatres next Friday, 20th July. Judging by everything we’ve seen, it’s going to be mind-blowingly incredible.
