To celebrate the release of The Witcher Season 3 Volume 1, we spoke to the stars of the show.

With the whole world hunting down Ciri, it is up to Geralt and Yennifer to protect her. But as a war between elves and humans mount, can they truly trust their allegiances or even each other?

We spoke with Therica Wilson-Read and MyAnna Buring about returning to the show and how the characters loyalties are tested.

We caught up with Cassie Clare, Graham McTavish, and Hugh Skinner about playing the bad guys, writing the national anthem, and that glorious whipping scene.

Finally, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, and Joey Batey talk about the new facets for their characters, and how season three is about to be their biggest challenge yet.

Plot:

As monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where they hope to uncover more about the girl’s untapped powers; instead, they discover they’ve landed in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and treachery.
