The controversial maelstrom of Lance Armstrong’s fall from grace was always going to make for a fascinating film, and in October we’ll get to see the long, painful journey courtesy of director Stephen Frears.
Ben Foster is Armstrong, and Chris O’Dowd, in what should make for a memorable role for the actor, is the journalist David Walsh whose tireless campaign for the truth proved the cyclist’s undoing. Frears’ recent Philomena was an outright success, with Oscar attention and another serious role for an actor mainly known as a comedian.
The film is out on the 16th of October, and this new poster has Foster’s Armstrong doing his best Marvel villain stare.
